Cladding Replacement

On behalf of the Rochester & Elmore District Health Service Board, I am writing to formally thank you, your staff and contractors for the excellent result that has been achieved with the cladding replacement program.

I provided a report to the Board at its most recent meeting regarding the quality of the works carried out by KGB Constructions and the manner in which your staff and contractors accommodated our needs so well. The Board was very pleased to be made aware of this and several Directors have made positive comments regarding the appearance of the new cladding.

Further to my phone call just prior to Christmas, I would also like to thank you and all at KGB once again for your efforts on the cladding replacement program and for completing the project on time and on budget.

18 months ago KGB planned, managed and oversaw the complete restoration of the external aspect at the bank. Taking some months, this involved scaffolding, paint removal, roofing, restoration of chimneys, brickwork and tuck pointing, damp course and drainage.

(Ged Brandrick Architect office) complete demolition of old 1870's building. KGB retained all of the original bricks, windows, door and fancy parapet brickwork. Before and after photos show faithful reconstruction of the original building facade and they received written acclaim from council for their professional approach.

SHAMROCK HOTEL ROCHESTER

KGB have repaired, restored and improved various aspects of the 7 shops, 2 units and the Hotel interior at various times. Peter Kyne and Graeme Rosenow also oversaw the external refurbishment and painting of the building some years ago.
